Aiken man arrested for sub station burglary
An Aiken man was arrested for burlary at the SCE&G substation in Graniteville.

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. -- Yesterday morning at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies in Aiken County responded to a suspicious person call around the fence line at the SCE&G substation in Graniteville.
Deputies arrested Richard Allen Lowe, Sr. of Aiken as he was leaving the fenced-in area with some copper and aluminum jumper wire. Lowe is being charged with grand larceny, possession of burglary tools, injury to real property and malicious injury.
Lowe is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
