Babysitter arrested after child suffers burn injuries
Richmond County Investigators have arrested a baby-sitter accused of burning a two year old child in hot water. Stephanie Adams is charged with 1st degree cruelty to children.

AUGUSTA---Richmond County Investigators have arrested a baby-sitter accused of burning a two year old child in hot water. Stephanie Adams is charged with 1st degree cruelty to children.
According to the incident report, the child was taken to University Hospital and then transferred to Doctor's Hospital. The doctors told investigators that the child suffered third degree burns to his behind, groin, ankles, and fingers on his right hand. The doctor said the injuries were consistent with the child being dipped into hot water.
