Ed Meloan, the former North Augusta planning official, is facing 12 more sex charges, and his wife Susan is also facing charges in the case.

Both Meloans were in an Aiken County courtroom today, and during the proceedings, one of Meloan's alleged victims spoke from a side room to the couple, saying: "Thank you for 40 years of hell. I'm here in your face."

Ed Meloan's additional charges include 7 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, 4 counts of a lewd act on a minor, and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor related to film, videos, and electronic images of children engaging in sexual activities.

The paperwork also alleges that in 1968, Meloan had child pornography inside WRDW's building. You may remember Meloan was the host of Shock Theater on Channel 12 during the 60's and early 70's, playing a character known as Justin Sane.

Susan Meloan is facing one count of a lewd act on a minor and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The first charges for Ed Meloan came months ago when a man now in his 40's accused Meloan of sexually molesting him in the mid-70's.

74-year-old Ed Meloan was recently released from a psychiatric unit at MCG after attempting to take his own life.
