Deputies search for armed robbery suspect in Clearwater
Aiken County deputies searched for an armed robbery suspect near the Royal Inn on Jefferson Davis Highway.

CLEARWATER, S.C. -- Aiken County deputies searched for a suspect near the Royal Inn on Jefferson Davis Highway after an armed robbery Saturday evening.
Deputies on the scene tell News 12 a man robbed the office at the motel around 6:45 p.m. and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Multiple units and search dogs came out the 4500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, near Old Cherokee Road. The suspect was spotted several times and was armed with a black handgun, deputies said.
No one was hurt in the robbery. Dispatchers said deputies were not able to find the man as of Sunday morning.
