AUGUSTA, Ga. -- A teenage party ends after two suspects started shooting during an attempted armed robbery of money collected to enter the party, according to deputies.
Shots were fired around 11 p.m. at a party taking place in the back of the Bon Air apartments on Walton Way.
Two people were taken to the hospital nursing wounds to the hand and to the back, deputies say the injuries were not life threatening.
The two suspects in the case are still on the loose and deputies said the suspects came to the party as an uninvited guest.
Investigators are continuing to look into the incident because there were alcoholic containers located outside of the doors of the party location. There also wasn't a license to charge money to get into the party.
