ALBANY, Ga. -- Authorities expect to continue searching on Sunday for an elderly woman missing from her South Georgia home since Thursday.

Emergency personnel have been combing they water for 77-year-old Fannie Corley after her teal 1992 Dodge Dynasty was found empty at about 10 a.m. Thursday on a Lee County bridge near Lake Chehaw.

It is feared that she had either jumped or fallen into the lake or nearby creek.

Corley disappeared from her home Thursday morning.

Emergency personnel suspended their search at 5 p.m. Saturday but officials from the Albany Fire Department and the state Department of Natural Resources expect to resume looking Sunday.
