Update: Officers investigating death in Statesboro
The Statesboro Police Department is currently investigating the death of a young woman found at an apartment complex in Statesboro.

STATESBORO, Ga.---The Statesboro Police Department is currently investigating the death of a young woman found at the Campus Crossing Apartments in Statesboro.
Brandie Danielle Davis was found on December 8, 2009. Officers arrived at the apartment complex at approximately 3:38 p.m. Detectives from the Criminal Investigative Division were notified and responded to the scene.
Preliminary autopsy reports revealed that Davis' death is ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Statesboro Police Department are actively conducting the investigation.
According to a release from the Statesboro Police Department, based on the information available at this time, this crime appears to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information should contact Statesboro Police Department CID at 912-764-1542.
