COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Federal agents are looking for a man they think has robbed several banks along Interstate 95 in Georgia in South Carolina and may be traveling north.

Multiple media outlets reported Saturday that the FBI think the same man robbed a Wachovia in Pooler, Ga., on Tuesday and struck a Bank of America in Bluffton a few hours later. They also suspect the man of holding up a Wachovia in Walterboro in Wednesday.

In each robbery, investigators say a man said he had a a gun and demanded money. The man was also wearing a University of Miami Hurricanes baseball cap.

Investigators think the suspected bank robber may be traveling north on I-95. Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbia Division of the FBI at 803-551-4200.
