AIKEN CTY, S.C.---A month-long investigation in Aiken County has resulted in the arrest of eight people.

A coordinated effort by Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, Aiken Department of Public Safety SWAT Team and Aiken County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team resulted in multiple narcotics arrests. Eight suspects were arrested and crack cocaine, marijuana and cash were seized.

Sheriff Michael Hunt stated, “The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office takes a zero tolerance stance on the use of or selling of illegal narcotics in Aiken County, and as a result in a coordinated multi agency effort, Narcotics Investigators were able to address a high drug traffic area in Monetta”.

The eight arrested were Danyell Markice Daniels, Bobby Mealing, Christopher S. Gray, Brenda Phillips, Erica Robinson, Bobby Clark, Mae Key, and Mario Luna. Charges included Distribution of Crack Cocaine, Unlawful Neglect of a Child, and Possession. All subjects are all being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
