JACKSON, Ga.---Condemned Augusta inmate Mark McClain has declined
to choose a special meal before his scheduled execution Tuesday.

He is set for lethal injection for the November 20, 1994 killing of Domino's Pizza manager Kevin Brown in Augusta.

McClain has decided to order the standard prison menu for Tuesday: chicken and rice, collard greens, carrots, beans, cornbread, iced tea and bread pudding.

His execution is set for 7 p.m. at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, off Interstate 75 south of Atlanta.

McClain still has two appeals pending, one with the U.S. Supreme Court, and another with Superior Court in Butts County, where the prison is located.

He was convicted in 1995 for robbing and killing the store manager. His lawyers have protested that his death sentence was not consistent with other sentences given for similar crimes at around the same time.

Five media witnesses have been chosen to witness the execution, which would be Georgia's 46th since the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1973.
