AUGUSTA, Ga. --- Barbara Cobbs looks through the memories she has of her son Tremayne Cobbs. The 20-year-old was shot and killed back in May outside the Econo Lodge on Gordon Highway.

"It's a hard feeling not knowing that no one's come forward or found my son's killer or nothing, and just don't have no answers," Barbara Cobbs said.

Investigators are still looking for 20-year-old Nicholas Johnson. He's accused of shooting three people at this hotel. Investigators are also trying to identify two other suspects.

"In the Econo Lodge case, we will make arrests in those cases, it's just a matter of time. We have one suspect who is on the run right now and his days are numbered," Lt. Scott Peebles said.

"Somebody is going to be caught. Because my son didn't leave this world for nothing," Cobbs said.

But this is not the only open murder in Richmond County. Back in March, a fisherman found a man's body under the Riverwatch Bridge near 15th Street in downtown Augusta. Investigators now say the victim, 48-year-old David Dunaway, a homeless man from Carrollton, Georgia was beaten to death. Still no leads and no suspects.

Finally, over the weekend, 30-year-old Miquel Ramirez Hernandez was shot once in the chest outside his unit at Fox Trace Apartments in Augusta. Witnesses say they saw some men arguing with the victim and others near his apartment and then they heard gun shots. Investigators believe robbery may be the motive, but they have no suspects. Three cases with killers still on the run.

"I'm not going to let my son be no closed file, something you throw in a box. I'm staying up on it. From the lieutenant, to the people that wrote statements who was out there on the scene of the crime. Because I will never heal and I know my son ain't at peace," Cobbs said.

If you have any information on these murders, call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. They are offering a cash reward in all three cases.
