AUGUSTA, Ga.---Richmond County investigators say a man shot another man in a pizza delivery gone wrong.

It happened around 10:30 Sunday on the 3000 block of Dent Street, near Deans Bridge Road and Lumpkin Road.

Investigators tell News 12 Kevin Martin, 18, tried to rob a Papa John's deliveryman with a BB gun at an abandoned house.

Investigators say the delivery man, Tavarius Lewis, shot back in self-defense. He does have a license for the gun so charges have not been filed.

Martin was shot twice, once in the stomach and the side. He was taken to MCG, and was in stable condition Sunday night.
