AUGUSTA, Ga.---Speeding in the I-20 construction zone has cost one man a whole lot more than a traffic ticket.

A traffic deputy stopped Jorge Valladares this morning. He became
suspicious and called in another officer with a \K-9. That led to the seizure of four kilograms of cocaine stuffed in hidden compartments in that vehicle. . That has an estimated street value of $250,000.

Valladares was taken to the Richmond County Jail on trafficking in cocaine, speeding and charges of not having a driver's license. He told police he was from Duluth, Georgia, but officers say that may not be true.

Try living in Atlanta. Augusta has a small fraction of the problems Atlanta has. I would never want to move back up to that area it is completely out of control and getting worse.

Shout out to the officer and his ability to recognize when something doesn't "smell" right. There aren't many of those out there, thank you for getting him off of our streets and interstate. I can't wait to find out if this dude is really a US Citizen, which they are supposed to be checking on as well. And to think Obama wants to give them OUR Social Security...Health Care...Jobs....ETC when they are doing things such as this. Maybe he needs to go back to his home country......KENYA

Wow, a quarter of a million dollars. Somebody is going to be really cranky not getting their shipment. Hope it wasn't someone in Augusta, we have enough problems already.
