AUGUSTA, Ga.---A young driver is in trouble with the law after this morning after Richmond County Deputies say he was drinking and driving.
Deputies tell News 12 that 24-year-old Edward Puckett of Gainesville was behind the wheel. He was going down 10th Street and not stop at the stop sign. The truck went across Walker Street into the shallow water.
Our photographer on the scene saw another person get into the ambulance, so it's believed there was at least one other passenger in the truck.
No word on that person or the driver's condition.
