North Augusta officer charged after allegedly touching 11-year-old

AIKEN -- 38-year-old Travis Redd Sr, a ten-year veteran of the North Augusta Department of Public Safety, is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center after being arrested and charged with neglect.
Investigators say Redd pinched an 11-year-old girl on the chest with both hands on November 20th. Investigators say the alleged crime took place in an automobile.
Redd Sr. is a sergeant with the police department. He was suspended without pay pending the outcome of an investigation.
