Augusta, Ga.--- An early morning shooting in Augusta leaves investigators looking for answers. The shooting happened around 1:30 Saturday morning on Alexander Drive at the dead end by River Watch Parkway. Investigators say 10-12 people gathered for a fight.

"Trains go by, there's a lot of traffic, a ton of traffic goes through, from River Watch to Alexander to turn left to come back up to Washington Road. So that is I guess you could say an unusual place to have a fight," Investigator Tim Rzasa said.

Richmond County Investigators say the large fight escalated, then someone pulled out a gun and started shooting. Two men were shot and taken to University Hospital. 24-year-old Harris Flesner was treated and released. And 23-year-old Joshua Hinson is in critical condition after being shot twice, once in the chest and once in the abdomen.

"Whether it was scheduled to be there or not, but just judging by how many people were there, either word got out that people were meeting there or a bunch of people met there at once for whatever reason," Investigator Rzasa said.

Investigators say they haven't had any trouble in this area before. They say it appears this was an arranged meeting, possibly even an arranged fight, but whether or not the shooting was arranged is still a question investigators are trying to answer.

Investigators say there are no suspects, but they are getting a list together of about five people they want to question. If you have any information about this shooting, call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

Why do you have the name of the victim wrong? I believe the victim is 20 year old James Hinson and not his 23 year old brother. Check your facts.
