NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. --- The search continues for an Aiken County mother who is wanted for leaving the state with her two kids against a court order.

It's been more than a month since little Trinity and Issac Kirby went missing.

"They're just my two bundles of joy," Edward Kirby said.

Trinity and Isaac's father, Edward Kirby says it was hard not being able to celebrate both of his kid's birthdays last month.

"It was pretty hard because I had already started making plans of having birthday parties, and the stuff I was going to get them," Kirby said.

Trinity, now 8-years-old and Isaac now 6, have been missing since the end of August. The Aiken Department of Public Safety is looking for their mother, 29-year-old Veronica Kirby. Investigators say she is wanted for leaving the state with her two kids against a court order.

"It's basically sitting on pins and needles waiting and hoping," Trista Bevill said.

Edward says he just wants to know where his kids are.

"I could lose everything, as long as I had them. I mean that's the whole reason why I have what I have, is because of them. That's why I work 14, 16 hours a day," Kirby said.

And he's concerned about their safety.

"If she's not working, and if she's got a limited amount of money, that's only going to go so far. When are my kids going to start missing meals, and what is she going to do, and what kind of danger is she going to put the kids into to provide," Kirby said.

The Kirby family has been doing all they can to stay positive. They''ve been remodeling both Trinity and Issac's bedrooms, Trinity's with princesses and Issac's with transformers. He hopes his kids will come home and have a surprise when they get there.

If you have any information, call the Aiken Department of Public Safety. You can remain anonymous.

I hope and am praying they are found soon, for all the obvious reasons AND so we won't hear the totally unprofessional and backwards sound phrase "went missing" anymore.
