AUGUSTA, Ga. --- Richmond County Investigators say a man murdered his ex-girlfriend and shot her boyfriend. What's worse, they say Earl Dinkins pulled the trigger in front of his own 2-year-old daughter.

"She gonna have some kind of problem for the rest of her life that she seen her mother get killed in front of her face and she saw her father do it," Annie Krrksey said.

Annie Krrksey lives on Southgate Drive, and she's one of many neighbors shocked to hear 34-year old Sirlinda Price was shot and killed early Sunday morning in her home.

"Very shocking. I heard absolutely nothing at that time of morning. And it just makes me thankful that me and my kids were accounted for and we were in our home safe," Jackie Freeman said.

Investigators say Price's boyfriend, 38-year-old Melroy Browman, was also shot, but was able to drive himself to the hospital.

"I just think it's a tragedy that it happened. It happening here or up in West Augusta. You know, it could happen anywhere," Freeman said.

And what would drive a man to shoot his ex-girlfriend in front of his own child is a question investigators say only Earl Dinkins can answer.

"I don't know what went down, he shouldn't have shot either one of them, but they should've talked it out," Krrksey said.

Instead, what happened here can't be changed. And although a little girl was spared physically, the emotional damage is done.

Investigators are looking for Earl Dinkins. Dinkins is considered armed and dangerous. He is driving a black, 1997 GMC Jimmy, with a Georgia retired army tag RA4511. If you have any information call the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080.

Earl Dinkins, A suffering soul, A person suffering from PTSD and Childhood depressions is the person that many believe to have committed the murder of Sirlinda Price. The unfortunate victim of mental illness. Dinkins is thought of as a cold hearted murdering monster. Truth is he's a trained killer that was not deprogramed by Uncle Sam. Some soldiers need professional help before separation. "We've" had the best training that the U.S. Taxpayer's money could buy and are very skilled killers. The only thing we're not good at is mental diagnostic of ourselves. Go to the VA hospital and look for the crazy people. Many, many, many of them are well decorated Vets. I feel Very bad about what happened to Linda, I feel very bad about what's going to happen to Earl and 16 years from now the milatary will train "Momatonk" their daughter, Without so much as a psycological exam to kill and when the killings done, Give her a DD214 and move on to the next person. The Government is at fault too.

This were really cured Ms. Price was a good friend of minds she was a part of the family just like a sister this was unfair to take a life and in front of thier daugher. My personal comment for his part he need to have life without parole he never need the locks to reopen for him again. He was a man that won'ted what he couldn't have so he decided to take a good hearted person away from her child.family and friends. Mr.Dinkins need to fry.

What was his problem, and where is the little girl? My heart goes out to the bereaved family.

Once again, an article without a description of the suspect. Not a very good way to report the news and keep our citizens safe by NOT providing us with more accurate information. How about race, weight, height, hair color, body markings???

I know what her family is going through. Our family went through the same thing in 2005. My niece was murdered and her boyfriend injured. This was done by her ex-boyfriend in front of her children. My prayers go out to the family.
