WAYNESBORO, Ga.---A federal grand jury has indicted two men for the armed robbery of the Southern Bank in Waynesboro July 7.
Kellington Chandler, 18, and Leonardo Davinci Hardwick, 23, were captured shortly after the crime.
The U.S. attorney's office says they took $16,000 from the bank. They're also both charged with firing a gun during the robbery.
If they're convicted, they could face up to 25 years in federal prison with no parole for bank robbery. The gun charges carry an additional sentence of at least 10 years in prison after any robbery sentence is completed. The men have not gone to trial yet.
