ALBEMARLE, N.C.---A grand jury has indicted an Augusta woman accused of trying to hire someone to kill her husband in 1986.

Betty Neumar is already in jail in North Carolina. The indictment accuses her of trying to hire three different people to kill Harold Gentry.

Law enforcement officials in several places, including Augusta, are also looking into the deaths of her other four husbands and her first child.
