AUGUSTA, Ga -- The case of the alleged black widow continues to unravel and News 12 has new information on the five state investigation into Betty Neumar.

In court documents filed in Richmond County, details of the more than 20 items deputies seized from Neumar's home, as investigators in three other states struggle to find any evidence at all.

Investigators finally caught up with Betty Neumar at her Augusta home and they hoped a lifetime of evidence was also inside.

Lt. Scott Peebles with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, "We think that they'll definitely help us get some sort of grasp on what happened."

According to the return filed in Superior Court, investigators seized 21 items from Neumar's Cambridge Circle home:
1). 4-empty Medicine Bottles marked "John Neumar"
2). 1- Clear Medical Tubing
3). Misc. Latex Gloves
4). 6-Toothbrushes
5). Filter Mask
6).4- Misc. Journals and Date Books
7). Misc. Insurance Papers for John Neumar
8). 32 Fl. Oz. Bottle of Roundup
9). 2- Bags of Miracid Soil Acidifier
10). Green Spray Bottle with unknown liquid
11).Cardboard Cylinder with unknown Metal Powder
12).Opened bag of Rat Bait Poison
13). Almost Empty Bag of Hydrogen Peroxide
14). Empty 5 lb. Glass Bottle labeled Carbon Tetrachloride
15). 32 Fl. Oz. can of Mineral Spirits Paint Thinner
16). M-1 Remover 9/10 Empty
17).1/2 bottle of Aspirin
18). Gerber Baby Jar with unknown brown contents
19). Empty 16 Oz. Clorox Bottle
20). Blue Plastic Tote Containing Misc. Military Paperwork and Photos
21). Cremated Remains of John Neumar

Carbon Tetrachloride is a chemical so dangerous, prolonged exposure leads to a coma, even death.

The 76-year-old wed five times in her life. Her first marriage took place when she was 18-years-old in in Ohio in 1950. But within a year of marrying Clarence Malone, Betty reported abuse and in May of 1952, the couple divorced after having a son.

Eighteen years later, Malone was shot to death at point blank range in the back of his neck in the parking lot of his Brunswick Hills, Ohio business. It's a case the Medina County Sheriff's Office is looking at again, but according to local media reports at the time, Clarence had "too many enemies" to count.

Husband number two, John Flynn, was shot to death on a pier in New York in 1955 while the couple was separated. Investigators say Betty was there.

Betty was also there when husband number three supposedly killed himself in July 1965 in Florida. In the latest court filing, investigators site Peggy Flynn Sanders, Betty Neumar's daughter, who says Sills was shot during an argument that Neumar and Sills were having in a closed room. But since investigators ruled it a suicide, they destroyed Richard Sills' records.

Gardner, "So what you're basically saying is you don't have anything to go on?"

Rebecca Herrin, PIO with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office in Florida, "That's correct, there is really nothing to look at, nothing to reexamine."

There's plenty to re-examine in North Carolina, where Neumar is actually charged with hiring someone to kill her fourth husband, Harold Gentry.

In Augusta, lots to look at too, but no charges yet.

So now, the big question for investigators --Five husbands, five dead...coincidence or crime?

Richmond County investigators expect the tests from Neumar's ashes, husband number five, in the next few weeks.
