AUGUSTA, Ga.---A juvenile has been arrested and charged with murder in the weekend shooting death of David Reader.

Richmond County investigators tell News 12 that 16-year-old Tyreese Finey was arrested and charged with murder Tuesday afternoon. He is being charged as an adult.

Investigators are still looking for Anthony Joe, Jr., who is the second suspect in the shooting.

Reader was found dead in his car early Sunday morning near the East Augusta Commons apartments. An autopsy showed he had been shot multiple times in the chest.

Investigators say it appeared to be a drug deal that went bad. There is a reward for information on Joe.

Reader was an Augusta Symphony Cellist. He was 26 years old and grew up in Kansas.

David Reader is a friend of mine. He is a strong believer in Christ. He never smokes and drink. He stayed at my house for 2 months before he moved to Augusta with new job. I don't believe totally that David Reader had never involved with any kind of drug. He is a very sweet American young man I ever knew. I think he is victim of this murdering.

My heart goes out to young mans family but at the same time what was someone of his caliber thinking when he went to buy drugs. He had his hold future right in the palm of his hands and now it's gone. This is a wake up call and we as community need to start being more aware of what is going on and become more involved so that there won't be anymore killings of properous young adults.
