Investigators seek help in solving murder of cellist
26-year-old David Reader was shot and killed at East Augusta Commons apartment complex late Saturday night.

AUGUSTA, G.---Richmond County deputies passed out fliers Monday, asking for help in solving the city's latest murder.

That after the shooting death of David Reader, 26, at East Augusta Commons apartment complex late Saturday night. The crime scene is in the East Boundary area.

Reader was the principal cellist with the Augusta Symphoney, and he had just played in a concert that night in Evans.

Reader was found dead in his car. Sheriff's Lieutenant Scott Peebles told News 12 Reader may have been in that area trying to buy drugs.
Reader was shot in the chest.

Deputies told News 12 earlier they were looking for a couple of young men as suspects.
