ATLANTA, Ga.---Rapper T.I. pleaded guilty Thursday to federal weapons charges.

A federal judge ordered him to complete at least 1000 hours of community service in the next year, talking to youth groups about the dangers of guns, gangs and drugs.

The judge told him he will be sentenced in one year after completing the community service.

T.I.'s real name is Cliifford Harris. He was arrested in October for possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He pleaded guilty to those charges Thursday.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

A federal crime... the arsenal he had would be considered terroristic wouldn't you think? So one year before sentencing, in the meantime he's out free. So what's he going to tell the youth groups as to how he's able to walk freely for one year for committing a federal crime and who knows how easy his sentencing is going to be..let me guess in one year judge will sentence him and say "TIME SERVED" !!!
