AUGUSTA, Ga.---Superior Court arraignments were scheduled for Thursday, March 6 in Richmond County for two people accused in separate murder cases.
Adrian Hargrove is accused of killing a couple and their teenage daughter earlier in February. He also faces a feticide charge in the death of the teen's unborn infant. The District Attorney has filed notice of intent to seek the death penalty in this case.
Jeanette Michelle Hawes is accused in the stabbing deaths of her two young children in the bathroom of an Augusta convenience store last year.
Both are being held in the Richmond County jail, and have been indicted by the grand jury in connection with the cases.
The arraignments are scheduled before Superior Court Judge Duncan Wheale. This could change, as court calendars are often revised. Hawes has already had her arraignment postponed.
