AUGUSTA -- The days of artists getting the attention of pedestrians to listen to their music in Augusta may cease.
Tyrone "DJ Biggz" Dennison established the Self Made Enterprise store to help local musicians get their music heard and marketed to potential customers.
Dennison, a member of the Core DJ's networking pool, started the business over the summer and has seen much support from the CSRA music scene.
Having been an aspiring hip-hop artist in his younger years, he believes that his store creates an avenue for independent and unsigned artists to promote their music rather than soliciting in the streets.
His mother, Burnette Moment, has been helping him run his business and has faith in his endeavors.
Artists in the area believe that Dennison's store is the perfect outlet to get their music heard and an efficient way to build a fan base.
As the inventory of Self Made Enterprise goes, locals will be able to enjoy the homegrown sounds of the CSRA.
