AUGUSTA,, Ga. -- The lucky students at Bayvale Elementary School will be going on a field trip this Sunday, a trip that is unlike your average school gathering.
Seventy-five students and 25 faculty members will be heading to Atlanta to appear in Yung Mieo's new music video "I'm a Star."
Yung Mieo, an elementary school student like his peers at Bayvale, delivers a positive message in his music and takes a stand against bullying.
This is just in time since October is National Anti-Bullying Awareness month. Faculty and students say their involvement in the young rapper's music video will stress the importance of standing up against bullying to youth and will influence victims to speak up for themselves.
To return the favor, Yung Mieo will be performing after school at Bayvale this coming Wednesday.
