Summer in Augusta can only be described as one thing--HOT--and many people in our community don’t have access to fans to keep them cool.

So to help these people, the Salvation Army and the Time To Care partners--Ashley Furniture, Subway, Taylor Toyota and News 12--held a Fan Drive.

We accepted old and new operating fans, bottles of water, and monetary donations Friday, July 21 at K-Mart in North Augusta from 11 am to 7 pm. The fan drive was a great success!

If you didn't make it out on Friday, no worries--the Augusta Salvation Army will always take your donations.
