Time to Care Family Fair - May 21, 2011
Displays, kids’ crafts, and activities from non-profit outreach organizations in our area will attract thousands of people from the CSRA to the annual Time to Care Family Fair.

News12, Academy Sports, Ashley Furniture, Subway, and Troy University present Time to Care Family Fair Saturday, May 21 from 11-4pm at Augusta Common.
There will be over 40 displays, kids crafts & activities from local non-profit outreach organizations. The event is free but some participants have chosen to sell activity tickets at 50...-cents each to benefit Children’s Medical Center’s Camp Rainbow. "The Wild Wing Stage" entertainment includes a performance from the jazz stylings of Karen Gordon; the drum beats of I Drum 2 U, demonstrations by Taekwondo Academy and 5,6,7,8 Studios, plus a pie eating contest, and more family fun. Also, check out “Breaking News,” a band of musicians led by News12’s own Richard Rogers, Brandon Mullis, Gary Williamson, and Don Mathews.

- GOP 12th Congressional District Candidates Forum -- St. Paul's, 7 to 8 p.m.
- Light the Night 2012 Kick-off -- Adventure Crossing, 6 to 8 p.m.
- Time to Care Project at Camp Rainbow -- Rutledge, Ga.
- Back-to-School Bash -- Diamond Lakes Recreation Center, 2 to 5 p.m. Free school supplies, guest speakers, health screenings for school.
- Time to Care Back-to-School Hotline -- News 12, 3 to 7 p.m.
- Time to Care Blood Give-In -- First Baptist Church of Augusta, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Augusta Metro Chamber Women in Business -- Augusta Marriott, 11:30 a.m.
