The day long event offered parents a myriad of information on PTA efforts along with informational vendors and resources for all issues critical to parents on child safety, school safety, student achievement, health and wellness, nutrition and testing. This year additionally emphasis is being placed on the impact and importance of parent involvement in the schools while we offer registration for local PTA programs in addition to fun interactive activities and an opportunity to get information from over 10 mentoring organizations in the CSRA.

Wal-mart will give away free school supplies while they last and the 96.3 Kiss FM ice cream truck will be on hand giving out free ice cream. Local barbers from Axis Barber Salon, LLC and Augusta Technical College will also be providing free haircuts for boys.

This event combines the efforts of the Augusta Partnership for Children, with other local organizations to offer additional information on teen and youth programs and mentoring. Over 10 mentorship organizations will be on hand providing information about their programs.

Other event partners include The City of Augusta, Coca Cola, Comcast and WRDW News 12 TV.
