APPLING, Ga.---It's called Family Fall Fest and it's at Mistletoe State Park this Saturday. Usually they have anywhere from 500 to 1,000 people show up, but this fall, with the economy the way it is, they're not sure how many people will come.

Sandra Price brought her whole family, including dog Moose, out to Mistletoe Park for the week, to capitalize on fall break and have some affordable fun. "It's close, just to come nearby to where you don't have to travel very far away to take your kids for something fun," Sandra said.

And fun is coming to them this weekend. The park is holding its annual Family Fall Fest. And for a family of four like the Price family, it's pretty cheap.

$10.00 per car
$10.00-$15.00 for gas from Augusta
$12.00 Food
$8.00 Hayrides ($2.00 per person)
----------------------------------------------
$40.00 ---TOTAL

Brenda Bettross started the festival 11 years ago, with her own kids and wallet in mind. "I wanted to pay one price, come in, have a good price for the whole family without my kids saying 'Can I have? Can I have? Can I have?'" says Brenda.

While most fairs and festivals have plenty of children's activities, teenagers we talked to said they enjoy them too. "It's fun," said Trey Price. "We just do activities and sit around the fire."

"It's fun and we can come up here and fish and swim," Christopher McKenney said.

The park also hopes the festival brings them more business.

"We hope when they come they have a good enough time that they'd like to come back and do something else, perhaps camp or boat, or fish," said Jack Burke, an employee with Mistletoe Park.

Meanwhile, Moose and the Price family hope Monday never comes.

The event kicks off at 5:00 and goes until 10:00.
