Needs List for the Ronald McDonald House
This is the list of immediate needs for the Ronald McDonald House in Augusta, GA, including furniture, toys, linens, kitchen, food, cleaning supplies, storage, office supplies, outdoor, and odds and ends. Your help is appreciated!

Furniture needs:

  • Family room furniture for adults that is also children friendly
  • Family room entertainment center with TV/VCR/DVD
  • Playroom furniture
  • Dressers for 10 bedrooms
  • Nightstands and lamps
  • Headboards for bed rails (various sizes)
  • Dining room table and chairs/benches for large group of people
  • Solid color floor rugs (2x3)
  • Large oriental floor rug
Other needs:

  • Organizational units for toys and books
  • Cabinetry and storage in laundry room
  • Selection of books for all reading levels from Pre-K to adult including Spanish language materials
  • Restaurant gift certificate to provide dinners for our families when dinner has not been donated for a particular evening
  • ”Meal-a-Month” participants to provide dinner one night a month; ask your church, synagogue, business, family, and/or friends to sign up to bring or prepare a dinner for our families once a month
  • Movie passes to local theaters for families to “take the night off” or gift certificates to a movie rental store like Movie Gallery to organize a MOVIE NIGHT for all our families.
Toys: Legos for all ages; new crayons and coloring books; Leap Pad and Leap Pad books for all ages; blocks; board games; Playstation 2 and games for older children all rated “E”; “E” rated games for XBOX.


Linens: Pillows, pillow covers, terry cloth bath mats, wash cloths, white towels, vinyl mattress covers, sheet sets


Kitchen Items: Microwaveable paper bowls; paper towels; plastic forks, spoons, knives; aluminum foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, Ziploc bags, freezer bags; Gladware disposable storage containers; to-go cups; large trash cans with lids


Food: frozen foods, frozen juices; coffee, sugar, Equal, Sweet & Low, powder dreamer; tea bags; canned tuna & other meats; canned and fresh juices; canned vegetables and fruits; pasta; rice; Little Debbie snacks


Cleaning Supplies: Dishwashing detergent; powdered laundry detergent; Clorox bleach, Woolite, 409, Liquid Plumber, Lysol, Febreeze, Pine Sol, Sweeper Sheets; Clorox disinfecting wipes, latex gloves; plastic trash bags large size and kitchen size


Storage Materials: Large plastic containers with lids; chests with drawers


Office Supplies: Ink jet printer paper, copy paper; pens; postage stamps; HP inkjet cartridges


Outdoor: Patio table and chairs, lawn equipment, hedge clippers, flowers


Household Odds & Ends: Batteries (AA, AAA, C, D); disposable cameras; DVD movies; 40w and 60w light bulbs
