A Washington, D.C. memorial is making a stop in Augusta, at least, a replica of it is.

Roughly 300 motorcyclists escorted a traveling copy of the Vietnam Wall into town this afternoon.

The wall arrived in a tractor-trailer. Once set up, it will be eight feet high and 240 feet long.

Volunteers will assemble the wall Wednesday morning.

It will be on display 24 hours a day this Friday through Sunday at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Then, it will move on to another location.
