Free Christmas trees to military families
Anyone with military identification can pick up their free Christmas tree Thursday morning, but the offer will only last as long as the trees do.

This Thursday, December 13, volunteers with the Christmas Spirit Foundation will provide about 700 free live evergreen trees at Fort Gordon to anyone with military identification. That includes all active, retired, reserve, or guard members.
The offer will only last as long as there are trees. You can pick up your tree starting at 8:30 Thursday morning. You can learn more information, including the exact pick-up location, by calling (706) 791-3880.
