AUGUSTA, Ga (WRDW) - On this week's Getting Fit with Crystal Neal, the Lead Exercise Physiologist at GRHealth, discusses lower back exercises.
Lower back pain is the most frequent cause of disability on the job. According to the Mayo Clinic Americans spend approximately $50 billion annually on treatments for lower back pain.
Regular exercise can be used to help treat and even prevent lower back pain if the proper techniques are implemented.
Strengthening your core is essential so that you can have more support from your abdominal muscles, so this Core Rotation machine is also great. Always check with your doctor if you have severe or chronic back pain and a Physical Therapist can prescribe more specific exercises.
