AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Henry Stephens introduces us to therapeutic dogs that come in and help the children of the Children's Hospital of Georgia.

They are specially trained and come with their owners to visit the patients and the families at the hospital.

"I enjoy my dog so much i figured everyone would enjoy my dog as well. I've had a number of different kinds of dogs throughout the years and i started back in the 60's," Miss Marlene said. "We have heard a child crying as we're coming up on an elevator, we went to the room... Then each dog came in and did some tricks and that child stopped crying. He didn't even know they were finished [with the procedure]. He didn't even know they started, and that's what it's all about!"
