hey, we'd be rather be on the golf course...can't do that...but at least we're talking about it...

...And it's an impact on the local economy... and national economy as well thanks to a pair of longtime Augusta companies...

It's so hot that Club Car decided to hose off golf courses all over the country to help with what they call Easier Syringing of turf this spring and summer. We've got a photo to show you the electric hose reel.

This orange electric hose reel is tied into the vehicle's battery and mounted on teh drivers side to allow for a quick connection to the water source on all of the holes. After the syringing, the hose easily rolls back into the reel...so course managers can go to the next hole.
Golf Superintendents asked Club Car to develop this feature to save time, labor, and money on their courses.

In South Augusta, EZ Go is rolling out a new line of personal, consumer vehicles for use on golf courses, retirement, and gated communities. It's called the Freedom RXV and it's features highlight performance, safety, comfort, and reliability in a stylish, eco friendly feature.

Here are some photo's of the various colors.. they provide 14 and promise 50% better gas mileage due to the 13 horsepower Kawasaki Engine...along with a fail safe park brake system that automatically engages and stops via a sensor when the car stops.....because these requie less energy to charge....it's compliant with California's emissions standards and has many enviromental features.
