So, what do you do if you are a downtown business during the Masters Tournament….
You hold another first Friday event…after the real first Friday april 4th….
That’s being called the Front Nine..and Masters Friday is being called the Back Nine First Friday…
Two events and one big contest….called Play Through Downtown

The contest is set up so participants have 18 tasks to complete for free and game cards can be picked up at the 18 participating businesses…
Once the tasks are completed…you turn back in your game cards and you are entered to win one of four gift baskets………
The “Jacketing Ceremony” is set for Masters Sunday at 2pm….sounds like a lot of fun…
Stop downtown and pick up a game card and learn more…

The Farmers Market is moving to the 8th Street Bulkhead near the Savannah River. It’s set to move there the Saturday after Masters on April 19th.
The downtown development authority and vendors enjoyed Macartan Street, but it got a big crowded there.
This spot is expandable under the bulkhead and on the gravel area behind the GBT cotton exchange brandh….
Vendors pay $35… once again new location 8th street bulkhead starting Saturday april 19th

It’s been about a week since Somewhere in Augusta moved into the old Doris Diamonds building…
There’s been rave reviews about the no smoking area… 40 flat screens, new menu…two patio’s… and the service…about two weeks til Masters time.
