Thank You CSRA

To the great people in the CSRA and beyond,

I just wanted to take some time to thank you for all the support during the 2 years I worked here at News 12. Whether it was those of you who reported scores to our newsroom or those who just said "Hi" to me at the games, I truly appreciate all the kind words.

I came here from Ohio as you may know, 9 hours away from many of my friends and family. But it didn't take long for me to find out that all the talk about "Southern Hospitality" is absolutely true. The people of the CSRA are truly top notch.

Not only that, but so is the sports scene. Whether it was high school football, ASU/USCA basketball or GreenJackets baseball, this is definitely an area that loves and supports their teams. I have been truly lucky to be a small part of it these past two years and leave here with many great memories.

I am very excited for the next step in my career, working as the weekend sports anchor/reporter at WCMH in Columbus, OH, my hometown. I'll be working at the station I interned with in college and in the city I was born and raised in. I'll also be around my family and many of my friends. It truly is a dream job for me.

With that said, it still is hard to leave the great people and sports scene here. Thank you once again for everything. My replacement, Jake Young, is a good friend of mine and will be a great addition to the News 12 team. I hope you'll welcome him just as you welcomed me.
