It's the biggest football game of the year. In fact, it may be the biggest sporting event of the year. It's the Super Bowl and this year, in the 44th edition, it'll be the New Orleans Saints vs. the Indianapolis Colts. The only place to watch it, none other than News 12 on Sunday. Coverage starting at Noon and kickoff slated for 6:25pm.

So who's going to win Super Bowl XLIV? I asked the great people at News 12 for their prediction. Check them out and then let us know who you think will win in the comments section!

(In alphabetical order)

Krystal Alabaugh - Production Assistant
Saints 31-28

Blayne Alexander - Multimedia Journalist
Saints 24-10 (The Saints deserve it!)

Meredith Anderson - News 12 at 6:00 and 11 Co-Anchor
Saints 35-34 (Payback for all those times this season the Colts BARELY eked out a win.)

Bryan Baker - On Your Side Reporter
Saints 28-27 (Peyton Manning is the only reason this game will be close. The Colts' defense will do an admirable job of stopping the Saints' explosive offense, but it won't be enough to keep all of its weapons down. The difference in the game is the Saints' ability to hold Manning and Indy to a couple of field goals in the red zone. The game ends when the Saints go for a late fourth down and convert it to keep Manning off of the field for a potential game-winning drive.)

Kelsey Barlow - News 12 at 6:00 Producer
Saints 41-38 (Of course the Saints... after being the "aints" for more than 40 years, it's time for the Who Dat Nation to take over. My guess, with two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, it's going to be a high scoring game and close)
***NOTE: Kelsey is a native of New Orleans, LA

Matt Barnes - Weekend Sports Anchor
Colts 34-27 (Saints didn't impress me against the Vikings and not enough credit is going out to the Colts defense. But lately, the Super Bowl has been a close affair so why not again?)

Katie Beasley - Multimedia Journalist
Saints 24-21

Russ Bruhn - Assistant News Director/Executive Producer
Colts 34-21

Shane Butler - Chief Meteorologist
Colts 34-27

Tom Campbell - News 12 Midday Anchor, First at Five Co-Anchor
Saints 45-42 (The Colts have a much better team, but this is one of those moments in time where better may not always translate to winner.)

Ryan Calhoun - Multimedia Journalist
Saints 31-28 (It's fate that the Saints are going to win)

Luke Carter - Photojournalist
Saints 21-7 (A low scoring game, but great plays throughout)

Lisa Casini - News 12 at 6:00 and 11 Director
Saints 34-31 (After conferring with my personal sports consultant - my boyfriend!)

Chris Curry - News 12 First at Five Producer
Saints 24-21 (I've been told I'm supposed to pull for the Saints. So that's what I'm doing.)

Allyson Daitch - News Production Supervisor
Saints 24-21 (I don't like Peyton Manning)

Ned Dannenberg - News 12 This Weekend Producer
Saints 35-28

Kevin Faigle - Sports Director
Colts 34-24 (Peyton Manning, enough said)

Omar Forbes - Production Assistant
Colts 30-24

Jamal Hayward - Production Assistant
Colts 24-21 (The Colts will win by a field goal  in the last seconds of the game)

Colin Hilson - Photojournalist
Colts 35-31 (The Madden simulation had it Saints 35-31 so I'm going to take the opposite)

Ashley Jeffery - Multimedia Journalist
Saints 34-27 (I have to pull for the underdog since my Steelers stunk this year)

Victoria Lyons - News 12 at 11 Producer
Saints 42-35

Christina Marchman - Production Assistant
Saints 45-43

Richard Rogers - News 12 at 6:00 and 11 Co-Anchor
Saints 31-28

Tim Strong - News 12 This Morning Meteorologist
Colts 42-37 (High powered offenses on both sides of the ball.  Peyton Manning always finds ways to punish defenses.)

Melissa Tune - First at Five Co-Anchor, Reporter

Saints 21-14 (Gonna be a tight game, but Saints want it more!!)

Gary Williamson - Engineer
Colts 38-24 (Since I am the reigning WRDW fantasy football champion 2 years running, I am obviously an expert in the football arena. Well, it sounds good at least.)
