Ha-ha! Got your attention, didn't I? Well, you're not going to believe this but some of the sales for Black Friday have been released already!
According to U.S. News, early leaks are a new strategy retailers are using to "control the buzz" about their discounts. Sears has been offering Black Friday deals on Fridays and Saturdays for several weeks now and even ran ads on television promoting it.
The web sites have started too. One site is www.blackfriday2010.com and has four ads already - Ace Hardware, Sears, HarborFreight.com and True Value. Some good strategy planning on this site too.
Other sites you can watch are http://www.black-friday.net/, https://www.thanksgivingblackfridayads.com/, https://www.thanksgivingblackfridayads.com/ and many more. All you have to do is google Black Friday Ads 2010 and you get a lot of results.
UPDATE: www.blackfriday2010.com has a lot of good info on Black Friday sales. Flyers are now out for Walmart, Target, Best Buy, KMart, Sears, Toys R Us, Kohls and many more.
On the left of the screen, they list the "Top 15 deals" from the flyers to give you an idea of what's out there. For example, at Kmart, they have 2, yes 2 GE x5power Pro Series Digital Cameras for $149.99 - regular price is $219.98 for 1. Or Macy's $200 five piece luggage set for $50. And Target has a 40" Westinghouse LCD TV for $298.
So visit the sites often over the next week and plan your shopping strategy.
