Okay, as everyone who knows me knows - I'm a baker. But I ran across a deal at Kroger this week that made me rethink it!
Pillsbury refrigerated cookies, the kind you pluck it off the cardboard and put it on the baking sheet, cost $2.49. If you buy 4, you get $4 off. I bought 8 so that came to $19.92. Less $8 for the special made it $11.92. But wait, I'm not done!
There was a coupon dispenser there for a coupon for $1.25 off 2 packages so I took 4. That's another $5 off and it came to $6.92. Not done yet... Pillsbury special on the Catalina printer was a coupon for $3 off my next grocery order for buying so many and that brought the cost to $3.92. I can live without the mess in the kitchen, the time involved and the chance that something may go wrong with the recipe!
If there aren't any coupons at your store, you can go prepared with coupons for $1 off 2 packages (which will make the total $4.92 instead of $3.92). The coupons are on www.pillsbury.com, www.coupons.com or www.coolsavings.com.
