Happy New Year everyone! While I'm sure there are many better resolutions to make, I've got a couple I'm going to put out there. First, I'm going to keep close track of how much I save on groceries - store sales, coupons, etc. Second, I'm going to work harder at saving money on my grocery bill. It seems that's one of the easiest places to save! Just yesterday I saved $72.70.
On that note, here are a few deals for this week.
How about a cheap lunch? Lean Cuisine Market Creations are Buy 5, Get 2 free. So, $2.15 each for 5. Makes 7 cost $1.54 each. Get a coupon at LeanCuisine.com for $1 off 2. Lean Pockets are in the same sale, buy 5 get 2 free. But their coupon is much better! Go to www.coolsavings.com and print the coupon for $.50 off.
On their Buy 4 Get $4 sale, just about every item on there has a digital coupon on the Kroger web site. Combine the digital coupon with paper coupons and you can save on items that usually run your bill up.
I was hanging on to a Tide coupon for $3 off and there’s a digital coupon for $3 off. Now, I tend to steer clear of the most expensive brand, but I love the smell of Tide on my towels and sheets! So, I’ve got $6 off. Tide is then one of the buy 4 get $4 off items, so that’s now $7 off - $2.99!
Febreeze Air Effects or Set & Refresh are Buy 4 Get $4 off. So, they are $1.59 each. There’s a digital coupon for $1 off at www.kroger.com. All you need to find is a manufacturer’s coupon for at least $.30 off and it’s free!
Duracell batteries are never cheap but you can get them for a good price on the Buy 4 Get $4 off deal. After the $1 it’s $4.47 for a 10 count package. Another digital coupon for $1 off on the Kroger site and if you’ve clipped them, you should have another for $1 off. That makes it $2.47 for 10 batteries!
Olay Body Wash, after the $1 off for the Buy 4 Get $4 off, is $4.49. Digital coupon on www.kroger.com for $1.50 off. I had another for $.50 off (doubled is $1) so that’s $2.50 off.
Charmin, Bounty, Cascade, Downy, Crest, Bounce, Dawn – they’re all on the Buy 4 Get $4 off sale and they’re all on the Kroger digital coupons (or www.shortcuts.com) site.
Here are some bonuses too.
If you have a cat, there are digital coupons for Good Life Recipe treats. Both www.thegoodliferecipe. And www.redplum.com have manufacturer’s coupons. Double up on them! They also have a bonus at the checkout. I bought three packages of treats and got a $1.50 coupon off my next grocery order.
Another is Whiskas cat food. They are $.69 each, but I had printed off coupons for buy 2 get 1 free from www.coupons.com. So we’re down to $2.76 for 6 of them. I then got a coupon for $1.00 off my next grocery order! We’re down to about $.30 each. I just saw the buy 2/get 1 coupon at www.coolsavings.com.
