Here are some money saving tips for tax day! Around the country there are restaurants and businesses offering discounts and freebies to cheer up those filing their tax return.
Starbucks: This is actually for Earth Day, but hey – it’s tax day too! Free coffee if you bring in your reusable mug.
Cinnabon: From 6pm-8pm they will be giving away two free bite-sized cupcakes. If you go to their web site, there’s also a contest to win a $100 gift card at Cinnabon – now that’s a sweet deal!
I read that Subway is giving away free cookies, but I haven’t been able to confirm that on their web site, so I’d ask!
We don’t have them in Augusta, but there are some
Whole Foods stores in Georgia and my readership does extend… around the world I’ve discovered. They are supposed to be having a tax free day today to help out taxpayers.
P.F. Chang’s is giving customers a 15% discount today. This excludes alcohol and happy hour deals.
Some Chick-fil-A restaurants are having a special, but those are store specific and not nationwide. Contact your local restaurant to see if they are participating.
