Business are attempting to draw shoppers to gift cards. Most are offering an extra card for a certain dollar value of purchased cards.

Applebee’s: Get a free $10 bonus card when you buy $50 in gift cards at participating locations!
Bonefish Grill: Buy $100 worth of gift cards and get a bonus $20 gift card. You’ll also get a chance to win their Give, Get and Win Sweepstakes for $5,000!
Bruster’s: They have a tiered gift card bonus program. Buy $25 in gift cards, get a $5 card; buy $50 in gift cards and get a $10 bonus card, or buy $100 in gift cards and get a $20 bonus card!
IHop: Through January 3, 2010, you will get a $5 coupon for your next visitwhen you purchase a $25 in-restaurant IHOP gift card at participating restaurants. See

Kroger: Kroger’s special is buy $100 worth of participating gift cards and get $10 off instantly. The participating retailers are Bath & Body Works, Applebee’s, Best Buy, Spa Finder, iTunes, Sears, Bass Pro Shops and Pottery Barn. This even starts Nov. 27, 2009.
Outback: Buy $100 in gift cards and get a $20 gift card bonus.
Rooms To Go: In this week’s flyer is a coupon for buy one $100 gift card, get one $100 gift card free.
Target: Spend $100 before noon on Friday, November 27, 2009 and Target will give you a free $10 gift card. See sales flyer for details and restrictions.
