Here’s a new item for the CSRA – it’s called the Augusta Aiken Dining Club and it’s basically a bonus card for dining out. You can pay $14.95 per month or $99 for a year and it provides you with discounts at participating restaurants.

The web site was activated on September 1, 2009 as a by-product of another of their businesses (which I’ll tell you about at another time).

In a nutshell – if you purchase a membership, you can go to any of the participating restaurants and eat buy one-get one free (BOGO). They swipe your dining club card and let you know if your benefits allow it (for example, if you’ve eaten there twice in one month for a restaurant that allows once a month).  You will then get your discount amount taken off your bill. Some restaurants have limits (once a month, up to $15) and some have no limits (come in daily, no dollar limit). You really have to check out their web site www.augustaaikendiningclub.com and look over the restaurants and deals.

You’ve got restaurants like Broad Street Market (BOGO up to $20), Shane’s Rib Shack (BOGO up to $15), Einstein Bros. Bagels (BOGO coffee – every day), Stonecrest Steak House (BOGO up to $15) or Ni Hao Buffet (BOGO with no dollar limit) to choose from. Right now, there are 30 restaurants listed – enough for someplace different about every night! They tell me they’re always looking to add more too!

There’s a 30 day free trial period listed on the web site, so why not try it out? You can always cancel if you don’t think it’s worthwhile! I’m sending my hubby a link right now!
