UPDATE:  August 18, 2010

The list of stations participating in the Fuel Perks program is updated on the Bi-Lo Fuel Perks web site at Bi-Lo fuelperks.  Since my readers are from all over, I'll leave it up to you to find what stations are in your area.

UPDATE:  Dec. 23, 2009

In response to the comment regarding using your perks, according to the Bi-Lo web site (http://my.bi-lo.com/wps/wcm/connect/Content%20Library/bi-lo/fuelperks/how+does+it+work) your fuel discount is valid for one use, up to 20 gallons.  Once your rewards are redeemed, keep shopping. You'll begin earning fuelperks! rewards all over again.

Another item noted is the rewards expiration:  Your fuelperks! rewards are good for the month in which you receive them, plus the next three months. For example, if you earn fuelperks! on October 10th, they'll expire on January 31st.

Bi-Lo has a new program that will begin running in the Augusta area. It’s called Fuelperks!® and it starts on November 4.

By using your Bi-Lo Bonuscard®, you will save money on your grocery bill AND earn discounts you can use at the pump. For every $50 spent at Bi-Lo, you will receive a five cent per gallon reward that can be used at the pump. The $50 can be achieved by visiting your Bi-Lo on multiple visits.

There is no limit to the rewards you can earn - $50, $100, $200 or more. If you accumulate $200, you will accumulate a 20 center per gallon reward.

To use your fuelperks!® you would swipe your full-size Bi-Lo Bonuscard in the card reader at any participating BP or Sunoco station. The price per gallon will automatically roll down by the amount of your earned rewards. You can pump up to 20 gallons of gas per visit.

All the details are online at Bi-Lo fuelperks, which includes a map of locations for participating BP and Sunoco stations.  Be patient – Bi-Lo tells me they should have it activated Nov. 4, 2009 with the participating stations. If it’s not there – I’ll let them know.

Update 11/04/2009:  They are still working on the site for locations.  In the meantime, they have sent me the following list of stations participating:

Shell Station - 1965 Washington Road, Thomson, GA

listing of stations in cleveland, tn or close to cleveland, tn
  • by Renee Location: Monroe on Mar 9, 2011 at 02:08 PM
This is a rip off if there are no gas stations between Monroe and Charlotte that take the bonus card.

I shop at the Super BI-LO in Weddigton NC because our BI-LO in Indian Trail closed. the BP in Weddington cheats me. I pay cash for my gas in when they swipe my bonus card they start the pump and then turn it off so they have to restart it and I lose my perks. Because I pay cash I can't swipe my card at the pump they say.

When fuelperks points are redeemed, the balance is not cancelled; points continue to accumulate. Anybody else mention this?

we have the fuelperks here at BILOs but do the BP station in this area take them ? or do they have to be in the towns shown?

People, read and follow the instructions posted by individual stores. The big-wigs that come up with this crap did not thnk things thru. I manage a store in Marion that takes the perks. It has been a living nightmare for my employees and I. People will not follow instructions, and can result in the loss of your discount, and of course it's our fault. Also the statement at the end of your reciept, that says you have earned $40.00 toward your next reward, DOES NOT MEAN YOUR GETTING $40 OF FREE GAS!! It means you spend ten more $ and earn 5 more cents off per gallon. BI_LO needs to re-word that and their instuctions on the website and signs. All pumps are different and it is not as simple as 1 2 3. There are other steps you have to take, and like our station it pre-paying is required, and thats a whole different ball-game. Please BI_LO customers, we appreciate yiur business, but show a little consideration, this is hard on us too!

Why aren't there any BP station located in South Augusta, on the fuel perk program. The one on Windsor Spring road and on Peach Orchard Rd. on this list.

The bp on gordon highway JACKS UP HIS GAS 15cents over closest station so not worth rewards of 15cents a gal.

This actually is a great deal, the car wash thing is just a rip off to boost sales, but with bilo you can stack up for months if you want and you gotta get groceries every week reguardless.I shopped at bilo for a month and accumulated enough fuel perks to get a full tank at 1.00 a gallon, been over 20 years since it was that cheap! You definantly want to use them when you are on Empty and plan on filling up the tank. I put 20 gallons in my vehicle for 20 bucks which normaly would have cost me 55 dollars! And all i did was buy groceries, which i have to do anyway, it is a good thing!

Cynthia - I would definitely go to your BiLo and ask them for assistance!
  • by Cynthia Location: huntersville,nc on May 14, 2010 at 01:06 PM
I tried using my fuelperks card twice at the same bp station in Huntersville and it would not work. They told me that there is a problem with my card. Should I go to BiLo store and have the problem corrected. I was at 45 cents off per gallon.
