I previously wrote about Starbuck's new rewards program. Well, they've settled on a start date of December 26, 2009. The more you use your card, the more benefits you accumulate. Go to www.starbucks.com/card/rewards to see all the details! Nov. 4, 2009 -- Starbucks is updating their rewards for the Starbucks Card and Starbucks Gold Card. They’ll be streamlined into one program called My Starbucks Rewards.
There are no annual fees, and there are some new benefits and the continuance of some old ones.
Use the card five times and you’re at the “Green Level”. This qualifies you for free brewed coffee refills, free syrups, and some free Wi-Fi. Use your card 30 times in a year and you reach the “Gold Level”. You get the same benefits as the Green and in addition, you get a free drink after every 15 purchases.
While their previous cards were successful, the new cards are expected to eliminate the frustration of carrying two cards. Current Gold Card holders will automatically achieve the “Gold Level” status and all registered Rewards card holders will revert to “Green Level”.
