You can save as much as 64% or more by combining sales with coupons.
Today’s trip was to Kroger. I highly recommend taking advantage of the “Buy 10 Get $5 off” sale. Keep in mind – there are more items on this special than you will find in their flyer! That’s why you should always print coupons out for anything you would use – if you got it for a good price.
For example – I normally wouldn’t buy the Bumble Bee Tuna in the packet, but since I actually made 11 cents by buying it, I’ll use it!
Here’s an example of what I spent using the sale plus a Pillsbury offer from the Catalina Printer at the checkout.

Plus a $4.00 coupon off my next order for purchasing 6 Pillsbury items. So I paid $5.56 for the above items. That’s an overall savings of $21.30 or 64%
I actually got 20 items – the others had more expensive purchases, but still very good bargains. All Detergent was marked down $1.80, plus $.50 for the sale, then I had a $1.00 off coupon – so I paid $1.99 for something that was normally 5 to 6 dollars!
So remember, you may not use that coupon today, this week or this month – but you may find yourself using it in the future!
