Food Lion has a
section on their web site that tells you what you can get from the Catalina printers. You know - those printers that spit out the extra coupons at the cashier. Sometimes it’s only one or two specials, but this week there are a lot!
The specials usually run that if you buy 3 of a product you get a coupon for $1 or so off your next grocery run. If you buy 4 you get a coupon of a larger amount and 5 even more. If you combine these with coupons, it can really save some money.
For example, this week if you buy 3 Old El Paso products, you get $1.00 off a future meat purchase. Buy 6 and get $3.00. Go to
www.pillsbury.com and their coupon section – there’s a coupon for $.60 off the purchase of 2 Old El Paso products. Print 3 and that’s an additional $1.80 off. I keep taco seasoning, enchilada sauce, green chiles, etc. on hand – they don’t go bad!
Another good item this week is Pillsbury Refrigerated rolls and sweets. Buy 4 and get a $2 coupon, buy 5 and get a $3 coupon, buy 6 and get a $4 coupon. There are always coupons out there for the rolls, cookies, Grands – all the Pillsbury products!
Are you a gum chewer? This week, Dentyne is on the list. Have kids? General Mills fruit products – Roll-ups, Fruit by the Foot, Stickerz, etc. are on the list (and coupons on
www.bettycrocker.com). Nature Valley Granola bars are always on the list and there are coupons on
www.coupons.com and
www.pillsbury.com. Post Cereals and Ovaltine are the last two items.
The expiration date on your coupons is pretty quick – usually one or two weeks tops. So, you have to make sure and use them quickly!
